I like the concept of this, but it does need some work before it's really finished. I first noticed the clouds are inconsistent, I would work them more so there aren't the really blurry edges next to the hard edged brush.
The wings as mentioned also bug me. Just making them less straight up maybe? add some curve to them, or make them stronger against the wind.
One minor note: the mist shoudl be casting some light onto the armor in the front two figures, that seems too dark for the atmosphere.
I'm really liking the characters themselves, just didn't spend as much time on the background.
